I've spent most of today lounging around thinking about what I can eat next. And watching some Doctor Who.  And some knitting. I haven't felt particularly motivated to do much recently.

I did fix my Jawa hood for about the fiftieth time (okay, maybe fourth) and I'm hoping it will stay fixed now that I've used a coathanger to help it keep its shape. If this last round of adjustments doesn't get me accepted into the Rebel Legion, I might throw the whole thing out of a window.

Tonight, the Nerd was thinking about going to see Movie 43, which I have no interest in seeing, not even a little bit. I'm debating going to see Anna Karenina or Les Mis while he's at his movie, though I'm not sure if he'll even want to go tonight as it's supposed to be icy out there. I haven't seen any rain or anything, and it doesn't look bad to me, but that might be the person-raised-in-the-North thing popping out. Apparently, the whole state shuts down when there's the threat of ice.

Though I just checked and apparently no one liked Anna Karenina or something because it's not playing anywhere remotely close to me, so I guess that one's going on the Netflix queue to get it when it comes out. I could just stay home and watch Up because I think he might have wanted to see Les Mis.

I don't care for this listlessness that's been my MO recently. I get so overwhelmed by all the things I should be doing that I completely shut down and end up doing nothing.

It is one month before my birthday, so I figured it was a good a time as any to start another online journal and maybe actually stick with this one for a time.

Not much went on today. I didn't leave for work until five, so I pretty much had the day to myself, much like all my other days. This one was only slightly different because I had to clean out the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. I had a jug of wine in there and it started to leak...and then I saw that it had not only leaked, but also gotten in between the shelf and the bar that was holding it up, so I had to take it all apart to make sure it got cleaned out properly. It looks really nice now.

I also watched a few episodes of Doctor Who while I knitted. I really want that scarf to be finished so I can do the one for my mom, then start on the one for my BFF's birthday which is going to take me forever. His birthday is in June, but it's the 4th Doctor's scarf, so it's something like twelve feet long. With any luck, I'll be able to have it sorted on time.

I was hoping that I'd be able to get out of work early this evening (I can leave up to fifteen or so minutes early if there's no one in the library), but it looks like one of my patrons that always has to stay until exactly nine o'clock is in here. Sigh. The best laid plans of mice and men.
